Some guy wanted to rent my dump truck for a job like that by the hour 70dollars a hour worked one day made about a thousand dollars cause they paid dumping fee i waited all day told them cheaper to get a dumpster worked out better for them i wasn't complaining just doing what is right they got job finished boss called said stop by gave me four hundred dollars said I saved company money took them five weeks to do job said glad I told him my thoughts and said i was right but next job used my dump truck hauled broken concrete i had places to dump that stuff for free toot 3 hours then got fill material and concrete was poured im long winded on here but we owned a landfill in the 60 70 before all the big company got started like waste management b f i and a few other ones so been around a while seen it did it like I said have a good head on your shoulders going places on the dumpster wonder if other people were dumping in there 25:25 😊

The scrap could of been hauled to a scrap yard if one close some of the other stuff you have to pay premium to get rid of here they have places that takes concrete and asphalt to recycle some people try to get away with anything lucky d o t didn't get you i had places to dump anything we owned a landfill sorry people don't understand that it's all money if you separate it cost more to dump 17:09

Been in the "bit off more than I can chew" and/or "series of unfortunate events" zones many times. No one realizes how much work is involved with rental properties! There's always something going wrong, or some big project going slower than you'd like. But it's also the most rewarding, because you are making actual improvements to your community and the people who live here.

No way!! I run a rolloff truck. I have a class a cdl, so I run a lot of the 50 yards. Most of the time, I'm in the straight truck hauling 30's and 40's. We haul scrap metal. We have people break contracts and they either fix it or we dump it on the spot and leave. We don't fix it for them. On a side note; What class of carts are you running? I used to run the modified 5 horse. Loved the dirt tracks!!

Struggling with a full gut and remodel now, fighting the city on adding on to my storage facility, and running a dumpster business as well. I feel every part of this! 10 years from now when our family is on a beach somewhere and we decide if we go to work or not it will all be worth it! Keep pushing.

Welcome to your nightmare! Boomers aren't the problem! I had rented a cottage in northern Ontario, gets very cokd so the woman that owned,told me to make sure the electric heater under the bathroom floor kept the pipes warm! From freezing. She said they'd had a fire under it,but not the whole house! I found a floor hatch just covered by the carpet,with just a bit of it exposed ,so i cut the carpet,and opened the hatch! Oh what a surprise under the floor,all the beams under the house had all been charred and burnt by fire! Probably caused by using a propane heater previously under the bathroom floor!😮 She noticed i had cut the carpet, wasn't to happy about that,but i told her what id found! So,you never know what your getting, when buying and older home,or cottage!
